Evon Porter

Family Law Paralegal

Evon joins Klie Law Offices with a strong background in Family Law and legal support. Previously, she worked for a former Family Court judge as a case coordinator, spent several years as a legal assistant at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and as a legal proofreader at Williams Lea.

Evon holds a bachelor’s degree in English from West Liberty University—where she returned as a guest speaker for their English Career Pathways series in 2022—and a Master of Legal Studies from West Virginia University. She believes that empathy is one of the most important tools in Family Law and is passionate about helping clients feel supported through life’s toughest moments.

Outside of work, she enjoys life with her husband Andy, their daughter Addy, and their three dogs—Ginny, Paisley, and PJ. Her favorite pastimes include beachcombing for sharks’ teeth and cheering on the Pittsburgh Pirates.
